| Send Advice | Dear Roscoe, I recently read an article in the newspaper about a dog that was in the vehicle when his owner was involved in a car accident. The dog was not restrained in a harness and, of course, was very frightened. The dog planted himself between the owner and the paramedics who were trying to provide medical assistance and did a lot of barking and snarling. Help was delayed until the animal control personnel were able to remove the dog from the scene. After reading this story I went right out and purchased a travel harness for my dog. Once I put it on Sam, he didn't even seem to notice anything different and he happily cooperated while I fastened his harness to the seat belt. I always have my human passengers buckle up; I don't know why it took me so long to do this for the safety of me and my Sam. Be sure your fans know about this safety issue. Joel, Indiana |
