A Note to Parents
I am especially concerned about young visitors enjoying my web site. That is why I want parents to understand my policy for screening materials that are posted here.
I encourage visitors to submit letters, jokes, pictures and advice but there is always the risk that somebody will try to post something that is not in good taste or suitable for all ages. That is why this web site does not have a message board or other means of posting information automatically. All contributions to this web site must be reviewed and approved by me before they are posted.
The key to my screening process is having all materials sent to me first by e-mail instead of allowing visitors to post messages and pictures directly to the web site. Although some people may feel that this is inconvenient, it is the best way for me to insure that only appropriate materials with acceptable language are posted. I encourage visitors to submit anything they choose but I also intend to do everything possible to make sure that this web site is suitable for dogs and people of all ages.
This process may take up much of my time but that is OK. I like to keep busy and besides, there aren't any good dog shows on TV these days anyway.
You may also want to read my Privacy Policy for more information about privacy and my restriction that visitors under age 13 are not permitted to submit information to this web site. If you have a young child that would like to submit materials to this web site then you should do it for them.
Since the under age 13 limit only applies to people, dogs of any age may submit materials without restriction.
If you have any questions or concerns about this web site, or about the material that is posted, or wish to make a suggestion then please contact me. If you appreciate the effort that goes into preparing and managing this web site then a note of encouragement would also be appreciated.
Sincerely, Roscoe |
